Installation Procedure

  1. If replacing only the fuel pump module, transfer the fuel level sensor. Refer to Fuel Level Sensor Replacement (NU6)  or Fuel Level Sensor Replacement (NT7) .
    2. Fig 1: Remove/Install Fuel Pump And O-Ring

  2. Install the fuel pump (1) and use a NEW O-ring (2).
  3. Connect the electrical connector.

  4. Using the CH-48482:  wrench, install the cam lock ring (1) by turning clockwise.
  5. Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .

  6. Connect the fuel pump electrical connector (1) and the plastic connector (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
