Primary Resistance
- With ignition switch "OFF", disconnect wires from primary terminals of ignition coil to isolate it from the system. Set ohmmeter for x1 scale. Connect ohmmeter leads to 2 primary terminals.
- Reading should be 0.4 - 0.6 ohm. If not, replace ignition coil.
