Ignition System - BOSCH EZF: Description

The EZF ignition system is an electronically controlled system that automatically adjusts ignition timing. An electronic engine speed limiting system is included to protect engine against overspeeding.

Ignition timing can be retarded about 3 degrees through pigtail connectors located on the ignition control unit harness. When connected, this allows the use of lower octane gasoline.
