EZF Control Unit

The ignition control unit is next to the LH control unit in the passenger's footwell. It has a vacuum connection which is connected with the intake air distributor. In this manner the ignition control unit receives instantaneous information on the engine load and can change the ignition timing accordingly.

A 25-pin plug is used to connect the ignition control unit with engine related ignition system components. The plug connection also has a coding tab, to prevent incorrect connection.
