Idle Speed Contact Functions

The idle speed contact switch shuts off fuel during coasting. No fuel is injected when vehicle starts coasting with an engine speed above 1670 RPM. This continues until the engine speed drops below approximately 1300 RPM. From this speed range on the LH control unit sets injection again. When the idle speed contact is closed, the ignition is also switched to idle performance.
