Fuel Injectors

The electric fuel injectors are installed in the intake pipes. All 8 injectors are operated together. Since all injectors inject fuel simultaneously, some of the fuel is drawn in only when a pertinent intake valve opens.

The injection pulse signal is produced with each turn of the crankshaft, whereby only half of the metered fuel is injected. The fuel injectors are activated by ground (negative) pulses directly through the LH fuel control unit without series connected ballast resistors.
