TDC Transmitter
An additional inductive sensor located on top of the clutch bell housing sends out one TDC signal for each engine revolution. The TDC signal produced by the sensor is sent directly to a test connection.
Test connection should be used in order to be able to accurately check ignition timing and engine speed, and to exclude erroneous testing with a stroboscope test light.
This requires using a tester with a separate TDC transmitter connection. When connecting these testers it is important that cylinder No. 1 ignition lead is also connected and tester is set to 4 cylinders.
