Test 19 - Leaks In Intake System
- Check all connections after hot wire sensor for tightness and leaks. Check sealing of hot wire air sensor (no pinched gaskets).
- Mount self-made tool to airflow sensor using two 4 x 45 mm screws. See Fig 1 . Build up 14 psi through the airflow sensor using a tire pump. If there are fuel leaks in the induction system, there will be a rapid drop in pressure and the presence of air escaping.
