Test 5 - Temperature Sensor I
- Connect ohmmeter to terminals No. 10 and 22 on EZF ignition control unit plug. Readings should be as follows:
- At 32°F (0°C) equals 4.4 to 6.8 k/ohms.
- At 60-85°F (15-30°C) equals 1.4 to 3.6 k/ohms.
- At 105°F (40°C) equals 1 to 1.3 k/ohms.
- For protective circuit, temperature sensor break (open circuit) and short circuit (grounded) equals ignition timing of -3°. Intake air temperature 122°F (50°C) equals ignition timing of -3°. These readings are with closed full throttle contact and 25 in. Hg vacuum.
