Removal & Installation: Rotor

  1. With distributor cap removed, split the dust shield at base of rotor. Remove dust shield. Remove hex head bolt from rotor assembly. Pull rotor assembly from shaft.
  2. To reinstall, push rotor assembly onto shaft. Ensure rotor assembly bottoms on shaft. Install a new mounting screw and tighten to 35 INCH lbs. (4 N.m).
