Control Signal Test

Using DME System Tester (9288) in ACTUAL VALUE menu, check idle speed control duty cycle. If tester is not available, idle speed control circuit may also be tested using an oscilloscope and DME Test Lead (Bosch No. 1-684-463-093). A square-wave pattern of approximately 100 Hertz (Hz.) frequency must be present when engine is running.
