DTC P1140: Load Signal

Check cruise control cable and adjust as necessary. See CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM article in ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT section. If cruise control cable adjustment is okay, check Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) values at closed and open throttle position. See DTC P0122 & P0123: THROTTLE POSITION (TP) SENSOR . Repair as necessary. If TPS is okay, check intake air system for leaks. Repair as necessary.
