(1) Check air filter every 15,000 miles and replace if necessary.
(2) Check camshaft and balance shaft belt tension after 2000-2500 miles.
(3) 911 is equipped with 2 oil filters.
DRIVE BELT ADJUSTMENT

Application (1) Deflection - In. (mm)
A/C Compressor 13/64 (5)
Alternator (2) & Cooling Blower 13/64 (5)
(1) With light pressure applied to center of belt. Power steering pump belt tension is not adjustable.
(2) If alternator belt is too loose, take one shim from between belt pulley and mount it in the front of the foremost (frontmost) half of the belt pulley. DO NOT  alter the total number of shims (6). This procedure correctly increases belt tension.
