Engine Oil (1) Synthetic Based Oil With Ambient Temperatures Mostly Higher Than 50°F (10°C) SAE 10W-40, SAE 15W-40, SAE 15W-50
Engine Oil (1) Synthetic Based Oil With Ambient Temperatures Mostly Lower Than 14°F (-10°C) SAE 10W-40, SAE 10W-30, SAE 5W-30 (2)
Engine Oil (1) Mineral Based Oil With Ambient Temperatures Mostly Higher Than 50°F (10°C) SAE 15W-40, SAE 20W-50, SAE 20W-40
Engine Oil (1) Mineral Based Oil With Ambient Temperatures Mostly Below 50°F (10°C) SAE 15W-40, SAE 10W-40, SAE 10W-30
Engine Oil (1) Mineral Based Oil With Ambient Temperatures Mostly Lower Than 14°F (-10°C) SAE 10W-30, SAE 5W-30 (2)

(1) Engine oils should preferably be used as synthetic or semisynthetic. Use only engine oils labelled as API SH or ILSAC GF-1 and viscosity grades of SAE 10W-40 or higher.
(2) For continuous weather conditions with ambient temperatures mostly below 32°F (0°C) use SAE 5W-30.
