Adjusting the roll-over bar

The roll-over bar is measured in production in the vehicle and fixed with dowel pins -6-  and dowel sleeves -4-  on the left and right sides. See Fig 1 .

The dowel sleeves -4- and dowel pins -6- must not be removed.  See Fig 1 .

  1. Adjustment procedure: Unscrew collar nuts -1-  at the screwed points front and rear. See Fig 1 .
  2. Lift roll-over bar and insert or remove shim plates -2, 3-  in Fig 1 according to the test and adjusting values. See TEST AND ADJUSTING VALUES  .
  3. Tighten collar nuts -1-  in Fig 1 . See Tightening torques  .
