Wheel Alignment Preliminary Conditions

In order to prevent erroneous wheel alignment measurements, the following conditions must be met BEFORE starting wheel alignment:

• Wheel alignment equipment properly calibrated.
• Wheel alignment platform with plates at the rear axle that can be rotated are advisable.
• Fuel tank must be full.
• Spare tire and tool kit installed.
• No passengers and without additional weight in vehicle.
• Tires must be set to correct pressure.
• If vehicle is equipped with air suspension, it must be adjusted to normal level. See ADJUSTING CAR TO NORMAL LEVEL (AIR SUSPENSION)  under DISABLING/ENABLING ELECTRONIC LEVEL CONTROL.
