Installing front three-point belt
- Install seat-belt pretensioner.
- 1.1. Fit seat-belt pretensioner -1-
, making sure that the guide pin is fitted correctly -2-

- 1.2. Tighten fastening screw -3-
until secure Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ft lb.)

Information
Always replace the fastening screws on the three-point seat belt. The micro-self-locking screws must not be treated (e.g. greased) or loosened and then screwed on again.

Route electric lines outside of the belt roll-up area.
- 1.3. Plug in electric plug connection -1-
and close the locking mechanism.
- 1.4. Secure electric line in the fixing clip -2- .
Information
Once the fastening screw has been tightened, the belt lug must level out on its own in a vertical position or in the relevant support direction.

- Tighten fastening screw -1-
for belt lug on the height adjuster Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ft lb.)

Information
Do not twist the three-point belt during installation!
- Tighten fastening screw -1-
for the belt guide -2-
at the B-pillar Tightening torque 4.5 Nm (3 ft lb.)

Do not twist the three-point belt during installation!
- Install seat belt mount.NOTE: Incorrect handling of spring plate on seat belt mount
- The seat belt must be replaced.
→ Only bend the spring plate up as far as required to allow you to push the seat belt mount off the mounting pin.
→ The spring plate must be touching the mounting pin during installation with preload.
- 4.1. Position seat belt mount -2-
on the retaining pin -4-
and pull upward until the retaining clip -3-
locks with an audible click.
- 4.2. Pull on the belt strap. The retaining clip -3- must engage fully on the holder.
- 4.3. Slide the cap -1- over the seat belt mount -2- and lock it. The label on the seat belt must be pushed into the cap when you slide the cover down.
