Retard Components

All models are equipped with a knock sensor. 900 Turbo vehicles are equipped with a retard cylinder on the distributor, which retards timing in response to increasing boost pressure. Except for those components, all retard functions are controlled by the ignition ECU. See KNOCK SENSOR  and RETARD CYLINDER (900 TURBO)  .
