Trionic T-7
Throttle valve position is entirely controlled by ECM unless a serious throttle control fault occurs. Then limp-home solenoid activates and throttle is controlled by throttle cable. Trionic T-7 uses 2 throttle position sensors and 2 pedal position sensors; none are adjustable. If opening throttle by hand while engine is running, use pedal position sensor arm instead of throttle spindle to open throttle. Otherwise, fuel shutoff occurs and diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P1263 sets. If done while cranking, DTC P1251 sets and system goes into limp-home mode. If either DTC sets, go to appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article for diagnostic procedures.
