Power Circuit

  1. Turn ignition off. Check for battery voltage between specified ECM terminal and ground. See POWER TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION  table. See Fig 1 . If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open circuit between ECM and specified fuse located in instrument panel fuse block, located at left end of instrument panel. See POWER TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION  table. See appropriate WIRING DIAGRAM under ENGINE PERFORMANCE in SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS.
  2. Turn ignition on. Check for battery voltage between specified ECM terminal and ground. See POWER TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION  table. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open circuit between ECM and specified fuse located in instrument panel fuse block, located at left end of instrument panel. See POWER TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION  table.
