To remove

Remove the fuel tank. See FUEL TANK .
Remove the screw ring from the top of the fuel pump. Use special tool no. 83 94 462.

Lift the pump until its upper part is approx. 50 mm above the petrol tank. Then, turn it clockwise approx 80 degrees and carefully remove the pump.
