Adjusting the accelerator pedal cable.

  1. Remove the engine cover.

  2. Undo the cable adjuster clip.
  3. Adjust the play in the cable by holding the pedal arm in its fully sprung-back position and pull the cable with the other hand until it is taut. Then slacken it to the closes groove in the sleeve.
  4. Fit the clip.
