Torque converter: Fitting

  1. Position the torque converter.

  2. Check that the torque converter is correctly positioned by placing a steel ruler on the torque converter housing's mating surface and measuring the distance between the mating surface and the drive plate's contact surface on the torque converter.

    The distance should be: min. 9 mm.

  3. Fit the transmission, See COMPLETE TRANSMISSION  .
