The absolute pressure sensor (603) is integrated with the temperature sensor (407) in one component. The sensor (603/407) is located on the charge air pipe.

AIR ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR DESCRIPTION

Location   On hose between charge air cooler and throttle body
Power supply V 5
Voltage at
25 kPa (-0.75 bar) V approx. 0.9
50 kPa (-0.50 bar) V approx. 1.3
100 kPa (+/-0 bar) V approx. 2.1
125 kPa (0.25 bar) V approx. 2.5
150 kPa (0.50 bar) V approx. 2.9
175 kPa (0.75 bar) V approx. 3.3

Pressure given in kPa refers to absolute pressure, i.e. 100 kPa corresponds to barometric pressure at sea level.

When checking the pressure sensor with a pressure/vacuum pump, slightly lower voltages may be obtained at high altitudes.
