To remove

  1. Remove the center console, see CENTER CONSOLE .

  2. Automatic transmission:  Remove the selector lever housing.
  3. Remove the gyro sensor. Use a large screwdriver to pry aside the air duct slightly to access the left-hand screw.
  4. Unplug the connector from the gyro sensor.
    NOTE: The connector has a locking device that must be released.
