Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to Fuel and EVAP Pipe Caution in Cautions and Notices.
CAUTION: Refer to Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Caution in Cautions and Notices.
NOTE: Refer to Fuel and Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Hose/Pipe Connection Cleaning Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Disconnecting/Reconnecting Fuel Feed Pipe

  2. Disconnect the fuel feed pipe from the fuel sender. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
  3. Disconnect the fuel feed pipe from the fuel pipe retainer.
  4. Remove the fuel feed pipe from the fuel tank.
