Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) electrical connector (1).

NOTE: Refer to Excessive Force and Oxygen Sensor Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Remove the HO2S (2) using a J 39194-B . See Special Tools .
