Steering Column Lock Control Module Replacement

If the steering column lock control module needs to be replaced, the following procedures must be performed:

Connect a scan tool to the vehicle and access SPS

Perform the SPS function Steering Column Lock Control Module - Programming and follow the on-screen instructions.

Perform the SPS function Steering Column Lock Control Module - Configuration & Setup and follow the on-screen instructions. On the screen Control Module - Configuration and Setup Function(s), select both ECU Configuration/Reconfiguration and ECU Setup.

Clear DTCs after completing the programming procedure.
