Code 45, Right Front Motor Frozen: Notes
There are 3 ABS actuator motors: one for each front brake, and one for rear brakes. Major components of each motor assembly are a motor, drive gear assembly, ball screw, nut, piston, and check valve. If ABS Control Module (ACM) determines that right front wheel is about to skid, it closes solenoid by-pass valve. Right front motor retracts piston to close check valve. Brake pressure is then modulated by hydraulic piston, under control of ACM. If motor is frozen, ACM disables ABS and turns on BRAKE and ANTI-LOCK warning lights.
