Clutch Assembly: Installation
- Install clutch disc and pressure plate with Yellow mark on pressure plate aligned as close to mark on flywheel as possible. Install Clutch Disc Aligner (SA9145T) through clutch disc until tool bottoms out in crankshaft. See Fig 1
.
- Tighten pressure plate bolts in a crisscross pattern to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
table at the end of this article. Remove clutch disc aligner. Lube release fork pivot point with high-temperature grease. Install release bearing. Install release fork. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Use NEW bolts for electronic ignition module.
