Removal & Installation: Notes
WARNING:
Some of the following service procedures require that ABS motors be cycled up and down using Tech 1 scan tester. DO NOT drive or operate vehicle with anti-lock brake control assembly in tension-released position. With tension released, excessive pedal travel and reduced brake effectiveness could occur. Always perform Tech 1 scan tester SPECIAL TEST, RUN ABS MOTORS and PISTONS UP-HOME functions before driving vehicle.
CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES
