Code 41: Est Circuit Open Or Shorted: Notes

PCM monitors state of IC (EST) circuit and supplies an IC signal when engine is running (PCM is receiving RPM on reference circuit). DIS module has ability to control ignition coils in event of missing IC pulses from PCM. Code 41 will set if IC (EST) circuit is open, shorted to ground or shorted to voltage.
