Instrument Cluster
- Remove instrument cluster and place it upside down on anti-static mat. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
. Perform all resistance checks for suspect gauge between connector terminals noted in INSTRUMENT CLUSTER GAUGE CIRCUIT RESISTANCE CHECK
table. Fuel and coolant temperature gauge checks should be made between metal clips that connect gauge to printed circuit board and specified terminal.
- Ensure measured resistance for all checks is equal to or less than one ohm. If any resistance check is greater than one ohm, replace printed circuit board.
