Code 17: Pcm Fault (Pull-Up Resistor)
PCM uses a coolant sensor signal pull-up resistor to increase sensing accuracy throughout entire range of operating temperatures. When coolant temperature is less than 104°F (40°C), a 4-k/ohm resistor is used. When temperature is greater than 104°F (40°C), PCM switches to a 348-ohm resistor. If pull-up resistor does not switch, Code 17 will set. Code 17 is an internal PCM fault. PCM must be replaced.
