Anti-Lock Brake System: Description
Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) allows driver to stop in shortest distance while maintaining steering control. System consists of 2 subsystems: a conventional master cylinder/booster assembly with front and rear brakes, and an anti-lock control system. Principal components of ABS control system are 4 Wheel Speed Sensors (WSS), a motor pack assembly, a modulator assembly, 2 solenoid valves, a control module, and interconnecting wiring.
