Diagnostic Aids

If Codes 21 and/or 25 are set, diagnose them first. Code will set if ABS cannot relieve enough brake pressure to allow wheel to regain speed during ABS stop, or if a mechanical failure has caused wheel to seize. Possible causes are seized wheel or skidding sideways during ABS stop. Use Saturn Service Stall System (SSS) and solenoids functional test to check ABS operation.
