Converter Clutch Actuator

  1. Disconnect transaxle harness connector. Measure resistance across actuator terminals "E" and "K". See Fig 1. Resistance should be 4-6 ohms with fluid temperature at about 68-122°F (20-50°C). If resistance is not as specified, go to next step.
  2. Remove actuator connector plate. Check resistance across actuator terminals. Resistance should be 4-6 ohms with fluid temperature at about 68-122°F (20-50°C). If resistance is not as specified, replace actuator. If resistance was okay, replace actuator connector plate.
