Code 95, Brake Switch Circuit Open: Notes

Brake switch circuit which activates ABS module is shared by stoplights and center high mounted stoplight. If all bulbs are open, ground is open, or if brake switch circuit is open, ABS operation will be disabled and ABS light will illuminate.
Code 95 will set if brake switch circuit is open. This code can set at all times. If code is set during ABS stop, Code 92 may also be set. Code 96 may be set in conjunction with Code 95.
