Odometer Mileage Programming Procedure
NOTE:
New clusters must be programmed with correct vehicle mileage before vehicle is driven or scan tool commands a speed signal.
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove old cluster. Install new cluster. Reconnect negative battery cable.
- Turn ignition switch on. Select season odometer mode (6 digits displayed). Press odometer reset button and hold for 10 seconds, then release. a single "0" will appear.NOTE: When programming, enter highest digit first (i.e. if mileage is 65,432 enter the 6 first).
- Press and release reset button for less than one second, to change digit. Continue pressing and releasing reset button until desired digit is displayed. Press reset button for several seconds (less than 10 seconds). Digit will shift left one position. Continue entering digits until mileage is entered.NOTE: Programming procedure can be aborted by turning ignition off and disconnecting battery before step 4).
- With correct mileage displayed, press and hold reset button for 10 seconds or more. Leading zeros will appear on display and gauges will drop temporarily. Turn ignition off for 5 seconds. Turn ignition on and verify new mileage.
