Code 11: Abs Light Circuit Fault: Notes

ABS light should illuminate for a bulb check when ignition switch is turned to RUN position. If after 3 seconds ABS module does not detect a fault, light should turn off. ABS module turns off ABS light by providing a ground path for light circuit.

Code 11 will set if ABS light circuit is open, grounded or shorted to battery voltage. When code is set, SERVICE light will be on and ABS will be enabled. See Fig 1 .
