Code 13: Traction Active Light Circuit Fault: Notes
TRACTION ACTIVE light should illuminate for a bulb check when ignition switch is turned to RUN position. If after 3 seconds ABS module does not detect a fault, light should turn off. ABS module turns on TRACTION ACTIVE light by providing a ground path for light circuit.
Code 13 will set if TRACTION ACTIVE light circuit is open, grounded or shorted to battery voltage. When code is set, SERVICE light will be on and ABS will be enabled. See Fig 1 .
