WARNING: When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. Before disconnecting battery, see COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in APPLICATIONS & IDENTIFICATION.
NOTE: For steering column and component removal and installation procedures, see appropriate STEERING COLUMNS article in STEERING. Removal and installation procedures for shift interlock components on vehicles equipped with floor shifter are not available.
