DTC B1001: Option Configuration Error

  1. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, monitor BCM DTCs. If scan tool displays DTC B1001, go to next step. If scan tool does not display DTC B1001, problem is intermittent.
  2. Turn ignition off. Wait 10 seconds. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, monitor current or history DTCs. If scan tool displays DTC B1001 as a current or history DTC, use Service Stall System (SSS) and reprogram BCM with vehicle option content information. If scan tool does not display DTC B1001 as a current or history DTC, problem is intermittent.
