Preliminary Inspection

Check BCM/ECM/CRUISE/ABS fuse (10-amp), BCM/CLUSTER fuse (15-amp), BCM 2 fuse (10-amp) and IGN 1 fuse (10-amp), located in underhood fuse block. Check BTSI/BCM MIRROR fuse (10-amp), located in left instrument panel fuse block. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . Ensure ground connections are clean and tight. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment. Repair as necessary. If no problem is found, perform self-diagnostics. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM .
