Trouble Shooting

Verify the customer complaint by operating power seat. Visually inspect for obvious sign of mechanical and electrical damage. PWR SEATS (20-amp) mini-fuse and HTD SEATS (20-amp) mini-fuse located in right instrument panel fuse block. IGN (10-amp) mini-fuse located in left instrument panel fuse block. Check for poor ground connections at right body ground splice pack located beneath center console, near base of parking brake lever.Check FOR loose or corroded connectors, damaged wiring, damaged motors, faulty switches, damaged adjusters, and obstructed or damaged seat track. If problem is found, repair as necessary. If problem is not found, repair by symptom. See SYMPTOM INDEX  table under SYSTEM TESTS.
