Circuit Description

ECM monitors resistance of fuel level sensor to calculate amount of fuel in the tank. Fuel level affects the rate of change in air pressure in EVAP system. Two tank readings are taken 1-2 gallons apart from each other. DTC will set if the 2 tank readings do not reflect an adequate change in fuel level.
