Removal & Installation: Console: Installation

  1. Position console into vehicle. Route PRNDL boot through console opening. Install console front fasteners and tighten to specification. See Figure. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Move front seats forward and install console rear fasteners and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Snap PRNDL cover into console opening.
  3. Connect console wiring harness to main body harness. Snap console front tray into console. See Figure.
  4. On vehicles equipped with power windows, connect power window harness to power window switch and snap switch into place. Snap parking brake boot into place. See Figure. Install console extensions. See Figure.
