Test B: Both Left Or Both Right Windows Do Not Operate

  1. Verify rear windows are not locked out by lock-out switch on power window master switch.
  2. Connect a test light between inoperative master switch connector terminal "D" (left side) or terminal "F" (right side) and ground. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, go to step  4 .
  3. Connect a test light between master switch connector terminals "D" (Yellow wire) and "F" (Black wire) for left side or terminals "F" (Yellow wire) and "B" (Black wire) for right side. If test light is on, replace appropriate master switch assembly. See WINDOW MASTER SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If test light is off, repair open in Black wire between master switch and right body ground splice.
  4. With a test light connected to ground, backprobe right instrument panel fuse block terminal B10 (Yellow wire) for left side or terminal C10 (Yellow wire) for right side. If test light is off, replace right instrument panel fuse block. If test light is on, repair Yellow wire between inoperative power window master switch and right instrument panel fuse block.
