Circuit Description

The Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor measures amount of air ingested by engine. ECM calculates mass airflow based on engine speed and throttle valve position. This value is continuously compared to reading from MAF. DTC will set if calculation and actual values are not in agreement.

DTC will set when following conditions exist:

• Deviation between TP signals are less than 0.6 percent.
• No TP DTCs are set.
