Circuit Description

Fuel tank pressure sensor measures pressure changes within EVAP system. Sensor signal is monitored for rationality as well as electronic functionality. The rationality diagnostic is only performed at idle after a cold start. In this case, pressure is monitored. If pressure exceeds 250 kPa for more than 15 seconds, DTC will set.

DTC will set when:

• Sensor signal value greater than 250 kPa for more than 10 seconds.
• Engine at idle.
• ECT at start is less than 91°F (33°C).
